Quintillis K. Lawrence

A graduate of the Ruben Daniels High School in 1992, Quintillis graduated with a Political Science degree from Southern University at New Orleans in 1998, and obtained his Juris Doctorate degree from the Southern University Law Center in 2001.

A member of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc, a Life member of both The Reserve Officers Association & the Military Officer’s Association of America, and a former Executive Board Member of the Louisiana Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers, Quintillis is currently, a member of the Louisiana Law Institute. Having practiced criminal law both as an Assistant District Attorney, and Assistant Public Defender, as well as running a private practice for over 10 years before being appointed Commissioner of the 19th Judicial District Court in July 2012 until 2018, Quintillis has a wide range of experience ready to represent clients across the legal spectrum.

Quintillis is also a member of the Judge Advocate General’s Corps in the United States Army Reserve. He has been a member of the Army Reserve for over 29 years, enlisting in 1991 while still in High School.
