Quintillis K. Lawrence
Quintillis K. Lawrence Is one of the most dedicated lawyers that you will ever meet. A dedicated professional who believes that every client deserves to have someone that will be open and honest with his client so that he can provide the best representation possible.
A graduate of the Ruben Daniels High School in 1992, he also graduated with a Political Science degree from Southern University at New Orleans in 1998, and obtained his Juris Doctorate degree from the Southern University Law Center in 2001.
Quintillis is an Adjunct professor of Law at The Southern University Law Center, where he teaches Louisiana Criminal Procedure, Criminal Law, Evidence, and Torts, all substantive areas of the law that are tested on the Louisiana State Bar Exam. He has taught since 2018.
A member of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc, Quintillis is a Life member of both The Reserve Officers Association & the Military Officer’s Association of America, and a former Executive Board Member of the Louisiana Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers and the Louisiana Law Institute. Currently, a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars, he practiced criminal law both as an Assistant District Attorney, and Assistant Public Defender, as well as having run a private practice for 10 plus years before being appointed Commissioner (Magistrate Judge) of the 19th Judicial District Court in July 2012 until 2018.
Quintillis also serves as a member of the Judge Advocate General’s Corps of the United States Army Reserve, where is a Lieutenant Colonel serving as the Chief of Military Justice for the 351st Civil Affairs Command. He has been a member of the Army Reserve for over 30 years, enlisting in 1991 while still in High School.
Quintillis’ practice areas include criminal defense in both civilian and military courts, personal injury, contract disputes, evictions, administrative representation for both employment and military.
